L-1 Visa FAQ

To sponsor an L-1 visa, the employer must have a qualifying relationship with a foreign entity, such as a parent company, subsidiary, branch, or affiliate. The U.S. company and the foreign company must be actively doing business, and the employee must be transferring to the U.S. to work in an executive, managerial, or specialized knowledge role.
