Sampei Omichi
Founder & CEO
Sampei Omichi is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Ellis. Mr. Omichi brings his deep expertise in product to Ellis where he oversees product development, business development, and corporate strategy.
Prior of founding Ellis, Sampei honed his skills as a Product Manager at River, a high-tech, high-touch bitcoin brokerage. During his tenure, River experienced substantial growth, expanding the team from 4 to over 50 members and achieving a valuation exceeding $400M. Mr. Omichi holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Babson College and a Certificate of Engineering in Computer Science from Olin College of Engineering.
Prior of founding Ellis, Sampei honed his skills as a Product Manager at River, a high-tech, high-touch bitcoin brokerage. Ali Ramezanzadeh
Managing Partner
Ali Ramezanzadeh is the Managing Partner and Chief Compliance Officer at Ellis. Mr. Ramezanzadeh brings his deep expertise in immigration law to Ellis where he oversees corporate client relations and compliance.
Prior to Ellis, Ali was a Senior Immigration Attorney at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, the world’s largest immigration law firm. Earlier in his legal career, Ali served as a Congressional Aide and Counsel to Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren, specializing in immigration policy and casework. Mr. Ramezanzadeh hold a Bachelors of Science from UC Davis and a Juris Doctor (J.D) from Santa Clara University School of Law.

Adam W. Moses
Partner
Adam W. Moses is a Partner at Ellis, where he brings over 15 years of comprehensive expertise across all areas of immigration law, including business, family, deportation, and entertainment-based matters.
In his career, Adam has managed cases for more than two dozen mid-sized corporate clients and has also successfully handled hundreds of EB-1, NIW, and O-1 cases for high-profile individual clients. He is also a frequent contributor to industry publications, with his work appearing in Law360, Harvard Business Review, The New York Law Journal, and others. Mr. Moses earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Tulane University School of Law and holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from Emory University.

Chief of Staff
Henry Lam is the Chief of Staff at Ellis, where he builds internal tools and processes to drive operational efficiency. Joining Ellis as its fourth employee, Mr. Lam has been instrumental in fostering the company's growth and operational excellence.
Prior to his role at Ellis, Henry worked on the Partnerships team at SuperOrder (fka Forward Kitchens) where he successfully launched of over 75 restaurant brands across the United States during the challenging period of the pandemic. Mr. Lam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance as well as a certificate in Applied Statistical Analysis and Data Analytics from Chapman University.

Head of Tech & Design
Chris Whitefield is the Head of Technology & Design at Ellis, where he combines his extensive experience in product design with rapid development of cutting-edge technology. Mr. Whitefield oversees brand strategy, software engineering, and product design. He has over 16 years of experience in design and development, with a focus in fast-paced startups.
Prior to Ellis, Chris led design at various startups, including Givelify, the best-reviewed donation app. During his tenure, he designed the new Givelify logo, rebranded their B2B and B2C products, and helped Givelify's mobile giving app reach 4.9 stars with over 120k reviews.

Head of Growth
Pritish Nair is the Head of Growth at Ellis, where he oversees lead generation, outbound sales, and marketing. With over a decade of experience in the study abroad and education financing sectors, he has helped shape platforms that enabled over 20,000 students to navigate the India-US education corridor.
Prior to Ellis, Pritish worked with organizations such as the Indian School of Business and Prodigy Finance, driving impactful growth and building trusted brands in the global education and mobility space. A graduate of Raffles University with a Bachelor of Design, he blends creative problem-solving with strategic thinking to drive sustainable growth at Ellis.

Dorothy Ren is a Software Engineer at Ellis, where she builds tools to help the legal team streamline visa application processes. With over a decade of experience working on early-stage startups, Dorothy brings diverse expertise across investing, product management, and engineering roles.
Prior to Ellis, Dorothy served as a Product Manager at several New York-based startups, including Carefull, where she developed solutions for family financial management, and Chord, where she worked on e-commerce data platforms for DTC brands. She also provided strategic product consultation to one of New York City's top-ranked charter schools. Dorothy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wellesley College.

Mina Bourquin is a Case Manager at Ellis, where she supports the legal team with case preparation and operational efficiency.
